Mech Fans Toys Mechanical Commando (Ultra Magnus)

Found this cheap knock-off (KO) Chinese made (of coz) Transformers figure/toys of  Ultra Magnus which I believed is based on the Leader Classs Ultra Magnus of Transformers Siege War for Cybertron Trilogy originally produced by Hasbro/Takara Tomy though this KO version is made by Mech Facs Toys (MFT) or so says the label on the box. 

Anyway, let's have a look at this Ultra Magnus, first the box:

And now, out of the box:

OK, let's have a look at the Ultra Magnus in robot mode closely:

And these are the weapons and/or extra parts available for him:

OK, I'm gonna start from the vehicle mode first and so this is how he look like in his truck mode, whatever it is:

And you can attached those weapons anywhere you like:

As you can see, this truck have plenty of wheels/tires but none of them rolls/move:

And when you look at the design, it is a self explanatory of cheap engineering design that at least work cosmetically:

OK, now let's go back to the robot mode:

I think the robot mode looks quite decent but if there is anything that I wish could be better is maybe the head should be a little bit bigger that it is now, just a little bit would be great.

Articulation wise, I think it's pretty decent as well, the usual kneeling post is not a problem:

Apart from that gun or blaster, we also get this extra weapon mode which is some sort of hammer or whatever:

I think the gun or the blaster in full plain white is pretty boring, hence I did a bit of simple painting job using marker pen and then I sprayed some top coat and this is the result:

It's not the greatest in the world but I personally feel it looks better than the original full plain white.

And I did some minor red coloring on that hammer thingy, again, it's not revolutionary but make it looks a bit better than the plain white:

Overall, considering the cheap price of USD7.88 this is quite a decent figure though I personally feel USD4.50 would be a better price for this thing. The size is in the region of Voyager-ish class of typical Transformers toys from Hasbro/Takara Tomy but the transformation process is indeed quite simple to do. It's a cheap Ultra Magnus figure that comes with decent weapon and decent articulation capability, you get what you paid for.
