Bonus Deep Fryer

So it's new year, Christmas is over. I guess many of you have bought lot's of exciting toys and figure stuff as Christmas present for yourself. What ever it is, hope you enjoy your year end break and today finally most of us are back to work or school or what ever...

I am waiting for the Nendoroid Petite Lucky Star x Street Fighter Set, which shall be available for review within the next 2 days depend on my sexual mood.

Surprising? Oh well, it's true that I don't really like those bastard Nendoroids as they're extremely expensive but extremely cute as well. They can hardly stand as the head is so fucking bug and heavy and still my most biggest concern is the hefty price.... but they're damn cute - I can't deny that... and since this set is a special set of Lucky Star with Street Fighter shit and also the attractive 30% discount offered by HLJ, I guess it's a great bargain not to be missed - anyway I really love those "Foursome Awesome" gals from the Lucky Star anime....

Nonetheless, let's wait for that but for today I would like to share some of our recent loots... not toys and figures stuff but rather a more interesting and useful stuff for daily use. There are several items of them but let's start with this "Bonus Deep Fryer".

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I earned any bonus what so ever from my company, we have none for the last 2 years ever since the world biggest financial crisis, but business stil lcontinue as usual. The brand name is "Bonus" - yeah, that's the brand name = "Bonus" or "BONUS".

Basically one of the local biggest departmental store chain has gotten bigger and richer now and they asked some factory from overseas (maybe China) to make electrical and electronics items using their logo and eventually using the simple word "BONUS" as the brand and sell it in their outlets.

The price is quite cheap... the quality, looks OK from the outside, I just hope this will at least last for 1 year, the longer the better.

So this is it, Bonus Deep Fryer;

Been wanting to buy this for a since 3rd Quarter 2010, but I was fool to think that I can get a better deal during the "Year End Clearance Sale" - at the end I learned that no discount applicable for electrical items.... sigh....

The box...

Out of the box...

See, made in China or where ever it is.... it still looks awesome....

Would be cool if they have digital thingy but I guess we wont get it at the price of SGD 56.00 (about USD 44.00 / 3,550 yen)

For cleaning purpose, you can detached them like this;

You can put another 1/100 scale Strike Gundam in there....

Nothing great about the manual, just a plain booklet style with black and white using recycle paper.... better than none....

I'm quite excited to give this a try.... Sunco, made in Indonesia, the official cooking oil of Shewsbury Land....

This thing have space for up to 3 liter of cooking oil..... damn that is oily and not so healthy I guess...

I use this Farm's Best BBQ Spicy Hot Wings as the test subject....

At the back of the packaging, I can see the guide.... seems that for this item, I can also just use microwave oven as well.... but for the sake of trying... what the heck... Just do it...

The cooking speed is extremely fast....

This is it - the final outcome....

Eventually I do have some issues on this thing, there are times when you do need to make some adjustment, tilting it to front and back or otherwise this thing wont work....

You see that gab.... basically I have to push it or tilt it a bit sometime... my first try, it takes me 30 minutes to really understand it and finally be able to turn it "ON" and start frying....

Overall, this is quite an interesting appliances if you like to eat fried stuff... yes it's not so healthy but once a while wont hurt you... hehehehehe....

end
