Moon Cake and Mid Autumn Festival 2009 - Part 1 of 3

This is the Moon Cake and Mid Autumn Festival 2009 coverage by Shewsbury Land.

By the way, I'm not so good with "people photos"... I find it easier to do toys or figurines photo shooting coz they "obey" my order not to move... as for human, they always move... therefore my skills is not good enough and thus I need more practice.

This time around, I just use the "Intelligent Automatic Mode" (in other camera it is simply just Automatic) and thus I just busy moving around from here and there try to captured all the fast moving actions and lots of peoples keep on moving around so it's never easy for me... by using Automatic, I don't have to worry about the settings, let the brain of the camera think about it... I just frame and shoot...

So let's get straight to the point...

They welcome me with great applause...

It's bee a quite sometimes since I visited this temple... and if talking about photo shooting... the last time I did that here was on Chinese New Year when I'm still using my Panasonic LZ-7, still have that camera now though...

Seems to be a very busy day in the temple today....

As usual, to welcome the great festival, people will offer their prayer and thanksgiving to God...

This bald guy is not a "black man" - he is an Indonesian man with a very dark skin complexion...

Let's go inside the temple... I need to say some prayer and thanksgiving too... hehehehehe... hope I can get rich as soon as possible, give us all the happiness and peace... amen...

How many of you (the non-Chinese) ever visited the Chinese/Buddhist temple or shrine? If you go to Thailand and China their temples are much more classical (and of coz larger) than what we have in here... Don't be shy, if you wanted to see the temple you are welcome anytime during the normal day when they're open. You don't have to pay anything but in many "tourist attraction" temples in Thailand, you do need to pay (for tourist only, locals don't have to pay) an entrance fee... some would cost up to maximum SGD 12.00 per person...

Outside the temple main building (still within the temple compound actually), everyone are still waiting for the show to start....

Some tourists spotted...

The actors are getting ready for the show...

More photos in Part 2 and Part 3.
