G.I. Joe 3.75 inch Action Figure - Storm Shadow

This is Storm Shadow from the movie G.I. Joe "Rise of The Cobra".

I don't know much about this character as I haven't watched the movie but nonetheless let's review this action figure.

Let me give you some hints... at the end this figurine is almost like that Figma Signum - if you read my review of it, you will understand with what I mean...

The packaging...

Out of the packaging...

You will get all these stuff...

The action figure, again the "fun gun", action base, small gun, metal claws, 2 katana and a rifle.

This is the action base, quite simple but we appreciate it so much...

All the weapons...

You can put these 2 Katana inside the scabbard at the back of the figurine.

This is the metal claws and the small gun...

I guess this is how you attached the metal claws...

And the small gun, I am very sure you just put it in here...

Standing with all the weapons...

OK, let's play a little bit with the "fun gun"

Here is a demo of it in action...

Now let's have a look at the figurine...

For just a cheap 3.75 inch figurine, IMO this Storm Shadow is absolutely beautiful and nicely done with all the decent details you can see on it's body or clothing design...

Articulation wise however... a little disappointed with it but I think it is still reasonable and acceptable... as you can see on this photo, the hand articulations are basically the same as the Snake Eyes - no plus no minus, they're equally great.

But it's on the legs where this Storm Shadow cannot compete with Snake Eyes. This is all basically what he can do and you do need the action base to assists you.

This is due to the design of the clothing style i.e. the jacket.... but maybe, just maybe, if you buy the higher range figurine (of coz the more expensive one and bigger in size) you might not experience this as probably they will use proper cloth to make the uniform.... maybe, just maybe... I don't have any of them but I guess Hasbro sure have it...

So let's see some possible action pose from this figurine...

BY the way, no hole at the back so you can't attached it onto the Figma stand just like Snake Eyes and anyway that scabbard seems to be fixed there, I don't think you can take detached it.

Well... that's about it... and now I try to do some simple fighting scene between the black ninja and the white ninja...

What the heck Vader got to do with this fighting scene or even this review... I don't know... I guess he just can't wait for his chance to be embraced here in Shewsbury Land so he is forcing his way in...

So back to the 2 ninjas... at the moment, I put them on my Figma Gallery, will see how the collections from this series could expand their popularity in Shewsbury Land... though for sure they can't compete with Figma coz Figma is the second most aprreciated collections in Shewsbury Land (GunPla is Number 1 of coz) but I hope they can expand their "community".

Overall, I am still happy with this figurine. The downside in posing is compensate by the nice details and accessories that comes with it.

Snake Eyes so far is the best in terms of articulations but the plain black color is really too "dark" while this Storm Shadow have such a great color for his uniform and on any other series outside G.I. Joe he can easily be a cool looking main protagonist.

Hasbro did a great job with this figurine, all the praise and credit to them... 2 thumbs up from Shewsbury Land.

And I am still craving for that Cobra Gunship....
