1/144 HG 00 Raiser Designer's Color Ver. - Part 1
This is the 00 Raiser set with the special packed 2 in 1 and painted with the special color scheme as chosen or preferred by the mecha designer Kanetake Ebikawa.
A Figma Gundam? yeah, that's what I like to think at first... this Gundam is absolutely lovely when it comes to action pose and articulation, I think it can do many of the posing that my Figma can do... astonishing if not empathic I would say.
The Raiser and the 00 Gundam... comes with a decent display stand especially for the Raiser but eventually you can still attached the 00 Gundam there...
Let's see the body...
1 annoyance I have over Exia is that the sword on the side waist easily fall down especially when you try to pose the Exia while the sword is attached on the waist.
With 00 Gundam, that problem is all in the past... the sword stick neatly and you don't have to worry about it will ever fall down, all praise to Bandai for fixing this problem.
Look at the arms articulations... now this is possible;
And the leg, you can fold it up to this level... for just a 1/144 HG kit, I am very impressed with this...
Look at this 2003 model of 1/144 HG Freedom Gundam from Gundam Seed;
This is all the arm can do...
And this is the maximum limit for the leg...
2003 to 2008, that's around 58 years and a lot of R&D going on in Bandai to further improved the articulation of their GunPla...
Now back to 00 Gundam... an interesting part on the ankle joint...this new design is extremely excellent... I love it that now the ankle can be articulate this way;
OK, I just can't wait to experiment the actions pose...
With 1/144 HG Aile Strike Gundam or even the Freedom Gundam this is not possible...
With proper balancing and adjustment, this 00 Gundam can stand still with 1 leg.
Kneeling pose look so nice... without any problem what so ever...
As you can see in most of the above photos, both of the sword is always stick on the waist part and I have no problem to pose the Gundam with it attached there. This is a little tricky with Exia last time around..
Next I will upload the Part 2 where we can see the posing with the 2 swords and of coz the Raiser unit piloted by Saji Crossroad...
