Kre-O Transformers Micro Changers Combiners - Predaking

This is "Kre-O Transformers Micro Changers Combiners - Predaking" produced by Hasbro. The local price here is SGD 19.90 (about USD 15.70 / EUR 12.10 / 1,570 Yen). I got this for free as my birthday gift last month.

The box;

Out of the box, you will get all these;

So I spent some time to build all of them and this is the result;

First this Divebomb guy;

Next is this Torox guy;

Next is this Razorclaw guy;

Next is the Headlock;

With some other additional pieces, you can then combined them all and build a bigger guy called "Predaking";

A little bit of close up look;

Articulation is pretty good, this guy can still do the usual kneeling pose;

And you can do some other action pose as well;

Overall, I guess this is a pretty fun and a pretty easy "Lego-like" Transformers character from Hasbro's Kre-O. As a robot figure - the bigger "Predaking", I can like them, the bright color scheme seems to be nice and they have decent articulation as well. The "Predaking" can be a decent figure in our display shelf. As for the mini "Lego-like" figures, I think they are rubbish, oh well, I don't fancy Lego stuff and I never really like Lego products or anything similar in those bricky type segment stuff. Probably there are many Lego fans out there and I have to admit, apart from Hasbro, Mattel and Bandai - Lego is one of the biggest toy producer in the world but their product is just not my cup of tea, simple as that. However, I can understand it why Hasbro are so keen to create this "Kre-O" division and produces what ever products they have nowadays - no other reason but to steal a little bit of market share from Lego in that product segment where Lego is truly a single and pure dominant company - no doubt about it.

On the other hand, since this is a birthday gift to me from a friend, yeah I'm glad to have it and don't pay a single dollar for it, this is something that I won't buy at all even if they are available at a super cheap price.

Size comparisons with other products from Hasbro;

Size comparisons with another "Kre-O" item which I get during my birthday last year - so it's like 2 years in a row I got this "Kre-O" products as birthday gift - not bad...

  2. oh, i’m one of those LEGO followers... =PPPPP... not every line, but certain related with comic and vehicles... so this Kre-O line would be interesting for me... in fact is available in my country for a very decent price (well, decent in the terms of a country that is far from the manufacturers and with internal shipping rates quite expensive...) this one looks great and colorful, the individual minibots are funny, i think is a wonderful gift... =)
