Pai Kut Wong Fan

Pai Kut Wong or Pai Kuat Wong or Pai Guat Wong is basically pork ribs in a sweet and sour sauce. Pai Kut Wong Fan is a menu known in many Chinese restaurants which consists of rice and that pork ribs in a sweet and sour sauce and maybe they add some cucumber and some other sort of vegetable that looks like cabbage.

This is one of my all time favorite from the Chinese food. We had this for dinner recently and it taste as great as ever...

This is Phong Mun Restaurant by the way... one of the oldest and most popular Chinese restaurant in town, some of their cooks and waitress are direct all the way from the mainland (China)...

And Moon Cake Festival is coming soon, apparently they produce their own Moon Cakes... If you buy from them, you will get these fresh Moon Cakes....

Chinese Tea....

Again we have a look at those Moon Cakes....

Looks so yummy - feel like I want to eat many of them.... LOL...

Tsukasa want it....

And Tsukasa got it...

The Moon Cake we bought is SGD 26.00 (about USD 19.37) - that's about SGD 6.50 each... this is just the "Plain Lotus Paste" flavor by the way...

Don't worry, we will do a review for the Moon Cake soon together with our special supplementary digirama with it...

While waiting for our food.... another look at certain parts of the Phong Mun restaurant.... if you in Brunei - have you been to this restaurant (this question is applicable only if you're Chinese or Non-Muslim)...

OK, back to the title of this article.... Pai Kut Wong Fan (Chau Ti)..... (fried) rice and that pork ribs in a sweet and sour sauce....

The "fly lice" (fried rice)....

The porky....

Tsukasa love to eat pork.....

"Chin Tang" or something like that - literally means "empty soup" - some call it "sup kosong"... basically just the soup without any meats in it... for Chinese, usually they love to have this while eating....

Done... finished it all.....

We pay SGD 8.00 (about USD 5.96) for these meal.... how much does it cost in your place ?
