S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Faiz (555)

This is the review of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Faiz (555) from the TV series of the same name, produced by Bandai (the Hobby/Collector Division).

The box...

Out of the box...

You will get all these stuff...

The figure...

And all these extra accessories and weapons - like Faiz Pointer, the mobile phone (or rather the Faiz phone, in cellphone mode and Phone Blaster mode), Faiz Shot brass knuckle-like device, the sword (Faiz Edge) and the belt parts.

As usual, let's have a look at the figure....

Though this might be irrelevant and not important to others, but I personally feel that the ass of this Faiz is too meaty or chubby.... never expected him to have such a big ass....

As for details, SH Figuarts never disappoints and basically you will get a decently detailed action figure that have great articulation....

Articulation wise, SH Figuarts never disappoints as this figure/toys series is actually a direct challenge to Figma from Max Factory and Revoltech from Kaiyodo so Bandai really have to make sure that they are up to the challenge. The usual kneeling pose is never a problem...

Some glimpse of the manual if you interested - nothing much to see there...

So now, it's action time.....

They gave you 3 different parts for the belt, very generous and most welcome...

Faiz phone made by Sony Ericsson.... LOL...

The Phone Blaster Mode....

Now the big one with the pointer added....

Faiz Shot (brass knuckle)....

The sword or rather light saber - Faiz Edge...

And the usual Kamen Rider Kick (Vodafone Kick)

I like the details on the shoes there...

Don't forget the fact that with a press of a button, the Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba can seprate his body into 3 parts easily.....

All the Faiz from Shewsbury Land Kamen Rider Division....

Overall, this action figure is somewhat exciting but also quite pricey at 3,200 yen (about SGD 51.00 before adding shipment charges). However, Bandai did a good job to offset those high price with so many extra accessories (or so they think) though I personally feel it would be even better if they also give more extra hands. I'm sure many fans of Faiz have been waiting for this premium action figure for quite sometime now and the next question is - will Bandai also produce the transformable Auto Vajin as well as the Axel and Blaster Form?

I think Bandai already have the answer and the prototype - it's just a matter of time but my personal prediction is that maybe by next year, you will see one of those 3 in SH Figuarts series.

  1. Must be very shocking to find out that your opponent can split into three upon receiving a Vodafone Kick. XD

Detailing of his shoes quite sharp, too.

  5. Want!! Figuarts proportions are either stick thin or too fat but he's still one of the figures with better articulation.
