Twist Action Form Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form

This is the review of Twist Action Form Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form (Masked Rider Den-O Sword Form) from the anime series of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... hahahahaha

I don't think you would believe that.... OK, seriously now, this Kamen Rider Den-O is actually from the 17th installment in the popular Kamen Rider Series of tokusatsu programs with the same name = Kamen Rider Den-O.

The box (or rather the packaging)....

Out of the box (packaging)....

You will get the figure...

2 sets of extra/optional hands, DenGasher Sword Mode and two sets of belt parts (with and without DenGasher parts).

Let's have a look at the figure;

Articulation is quite good but to achieve this kneeling post you need to put in some efforts in shaping up those metal frame....

Standing pose....

At least the eye parts is quite nice...

Some close up on the body....

Last week I reviewed the TAF Kamen Rider Ryuki and criticizing about the "lack of details" on the figure - especially if compared to the smaller and cheaper SIC Kiwami Tamashii figures, but eventually after I watch the DVD of Kamen Rider Ryuki last night, I then realized that Bandai actually try to make a mini copy of the one that we saw on TV.

The "uniform" of the actual Kamen Rider Ryuki on the TV series is basically or maybe exactly the same as we seen on the TAF figure series. They look plain, not much details or sculpt on the chest part (unlike that SIC Kiwami Tamashii figure) and it is as simple as it should be.

OK, action pose time....

I haven't watch the Kamen Rider Den-O TV series yet and thus I don't know what the heck of this pose means.... I saw it on the packaging... so I just copy it... remind me of Michael Jackson....

DenGasher Sword Mode...

Well... not much left to try or test on this figure.... Overall, at the discounted price of 1,260 yen (about SGD 20.00) at least I feel that it's kind of fair value for money.... but at the full price of 4,200 yen (SGD 67.00) - you can kiss my ass.... I will never buy this figure at such price despite Bandai keep on bragging about that metal frame and faux leather thingy... I'm not impress.

At least I'm a little bit happy with this item if compared to the TAF Kamen Rider Ryuki that we reviewed last week.... maybe because of that a little bit of extra stuff (although not many actually).... if only they include the big Dragon Head that can be attached on the right hand of that TAF Kamen Rider Ryuki maybe I'll be happier.

Buy this if you can get it at such a cheap discounted price.... don't buy it at full price unless if you are a very hardcore fan of Kamen Rider Den-O (and Bandai) and willing to throw your hard earn money for the sake of getting this item and bragging about it.
