S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form

This is the review of S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form from the anime of Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha Aloha.

Well... you can't believe that for sure...hahahaha...

Obviously this Kamen Rider is from the tokusatsu tv series of Kamen Rider Den-O, the 17th installment in the popular Kamen Rider series and prove to be one of the most popular of them all because David John Shewsbury was acting as one of the bad guy in the story but since that particular episode involved some explicit sex scene, the producer decided to discard that part and at the end the viewer never have the chance to see David John performing his "Dildo Attack" though David John still managed to become one of the extras or rather "monsters" in the show.

Obviously that is full of nonsense but you read it somehow...

So now let's have a look at this nicely detailed articulated action figure from Bandai.

The box/packaging...

Out of the box/packaging... you will get all these stuff;

The action figure...

Optional hands, DenGasher Sword Mode, 2 Den-O belt attachments (with and without the DenGasher) and that Den-O card.

As always, let's do the normal figure spin....

And now the usual articulation test....

Just like the previous Kamen Rider Ryuki, this figure doesn't disappoint when it comes to articulation and pivot points. It is not as great as S.H. Figuarts but the sculpt details will beat S.H. Figuarts easily.

This figure is about the same as those 4 inches Star Wars figures and yet it's all about details...

At some point I would say the detailing is way too much if compare to the one that we saw on TV but then again, it's not we don't like it... Super Imaginative Chogokin (SIC) is all about details.

If you wan the figure that offer the same correct details as shown in the TV, you should then go for the Bandai Twist Action Form Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form. Though it is no way near this SIC figure level but in fact the "uniform" design is the same in the TV series.

All right, action pose time...

Despite it's limitation, as you can see from the above photos, you can still do plenty of action pose that you can think off....

And now the final attack "Konata Izumi Kawai Kick"

Overall, this action figure is quite cheap with great details and decent accessories supplied with it and it can perform plenty of action pose and promise lot's of fun.

The only complain that I have for this figure is that the extra right hand to hold the sword is somewhat lousy... it cannot grip the sword properly.... you have to keep on pressing it hoping it will grab the sword firmly but after a while it is loose again.... maybe I will use the white glue to solve this.

If you are a fan of Kamen Rider Den-O or just a collectors of action figures from Kamen Rider series, I don't see any reason for you to hesitate about this figure... don't think further, just go grab them now while stock last...

Last but not least, yo u might want to add the handsome and sexually attractive S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Momotaros Imagin in your collection too....

For 1,200 yen (about SGD 19.00) this is a great value for money.

  3. As a bad guy, eh?... Does it have anything to do with some tenti-"play" action? =D

But seriously, I kinda liked his joints articulation range, quite wide.
