Zeonography MS-17 Galbaldy

This is Zeonography MS-17 Galbaldy another figure from the GFF series focused entirely on MS from Zeon only and thus the name "Zeonography".

This model offers you MS-17 Galbaldy and MS-14S Gelgoog. The reason for us to get this is none other for that Galbaldy coz at the moment, there is no GunPla kit for this particular unit.

The box..

Out of the box... plenty of stuff...

You will get the figure...

2 extra heads... 1 for Gelgoog and the other 1 is for Galbaldy... some sort of "commander type"

The rocket launchers, backpack, foots for Gelgoog

2 rifle, 1 for each models.

Extra body armor parts for Gelgoog...

2 shields, 1 for each models.

And this action/display base.

It is quite small if compared to the one that comes with GFF series.

The Galbaldy out of the box....

Articulation is a scarce... in other word, it's pretty lousy... Those Gundams (GFF) already have such a minimum limited articulation and this one is ever worse...

The joint on the elbow can't bent so much... makes you think this is just like those toys in the 80's though eventually this item was produced by Bandai in 2006.

The 2 extra heads... For Gelgoog unit and for the Galbaldy unit "commander type"

The different between the 2 pieces of heads belong to Galbaldy unit.

And the end, I choose the "commander type" of head... so this is it, the Galbaldy with all the weapon and armaments doing the GFF stance...

The decals and marking details is beautiful as always....

Due to the poor articulation, not much action pose we can do....

Maybe one for this shooting action.... phew phew.. boom...

And we can quickly jump to the beam saber that can be combined to form beam javeline.

And if you want to go crazy.... you can shoot them all with the "Rocket Laucher"

So now, we will see the MS-14 Gelgoog... this is where you need the manuals....

Transformation is not difficult, pretty much straight forward of part swapping all over the body and limbs as well as the head part...

Took me within 10 minutes to complete it... not as difficult as I thought it would be...

The "inner frame part" of the figure...

There you are.... MS-14 Gelgoog, some rumors said if and only if Zaku produced this model much earlier, they could probably win the war... unfortunately this model appear a little to late from the factory....

Side by side comparison with HGUC 1/144 Gelgoog (on your left)... the model kit seems to be taller...

Different model but same body frame, that means the articulation is totally the same...

Some shooting action pose... phew phew... boom...

And we jump directly to the Beam Naginata...

Some classic moment to remember...

So at the end... I switch back to Galbaldy and this is the final display item selected by me....

Overall, although the articulation is seriously poor and what it seems to be the only weakness of this item, this is otherwise a very beautiful looking figure, look so cool by just standing there doing nothing coz nothing much he can do anyway. Hajime Katoki designs always prone for beautiful looks but not so great in other stuff, but even so, many of us love it so much and no matter how many times some of you complains about it.... still most of us, including you, would still buy those brilliant "Ver. Ka" anyway....

9 pieces of this kind of figures now (GFF/GFFN/Cosmic Region/Zeonography) - I seriously better stop buying this thing now, they slowly invading the coffee table already....

Cosmic Region Destiny Gundam

Cosmic Region Legend Gundam

GFF Shin Musha Gundam

This one actually from the GFF Full Armor Gundam Blue Version - but I decided to display it as RX-78-2 Gundam (Ver. Ka) of course.

This is the Zeonography Galbaldy that we review now...

Ahh... the GFF RX-78 Gundam NT1-Alex

Cosmic Region Akatsuki Gundam

And last but not least, the most expensive of them all, the magnificent and the best quality of them all, the GFFN Aile Strike Gundam - my favorite certainly... Can't believe it that I have 2 pieces of this model...

And Mr. Goldy Froggy here loyally safe guarding all these 9 figures from evil spirits... but surely you need to feed him with some money, nothing is free....

  4. haha I met that galbady on a quick outing with DJ, have to say, it's kind of stiff on the articulation, the previous outing with Dj and Zaku has much better articulation, than Galbady... Galbady? Beldandy? Berdandii~!!
