Year end is coming

So Christmas is coming and that means year end is near and soon it will be the new year of 2012 and as otaku or toy collectors, what progress do we have this year?

What Gundam, GunPla, Figma, figures or toys - we just refer them as "items" then - what is your favorite items for this year of 2010? What items that you missed out? What items that you targeting next year?

For me personally, if there is anything that I want the most for GunPla - it would be 1/60 PG Strike Gundam or maybe 1/60 PG Strike Rouge with SkyGrasper.

The latest PG Strike Freedom - even if you give me for free, I don't want it... Not that I don't like Strike Freedom or Kira Yamato, but eventually all this MS with wings at the back tend to be heavy. I have this MG Strike Freedom and I don't see it as something fun anymore.

I seriously hoping and put pressure on my self that by 2011 I should get either 1/60 PG Strike Gundam or 1/60 PG Strike Rouge with SkyGrasper - any of these 2 will do - and if I fail, I shall retire from this collectors world for good....

Apart from that, maybe I would want the HGUC Sinanju, HGUC Acguy and HG Bear Acguy.

Recently after cleaning up the shelves and in conjunction with Christmas which is just around the corner, I decided to do some re-organization on all the stuff...

Based on the idea from Chubby, I put some of those Gundam and figure stuff into the box and only display a small number of them.

Eventually the benefit from this is shorter cleaning time and I can do the cleaning on a more regular basis instead of just once a month now...

To wipe off the dust from the shelves is easy, but to clean the dust on the body of the Gundam and figures surely take time and it can be a daunting task....

And so for now, these are the lucky ones that will stay on the shelves, eventually from time to time I can change them accordingly...

The MS of Char Aznable still there, but only 5 of them now;

Below it is this some sort of diorama, a FA Gundam being surrounded by Rambal Ral and his morons.

Nothing change for Kira Yamato Strike Gundam division.... I sure love them so much...

On the other hand, the "Katoki zone" now is revamp and I did some fun stuff, basically the them now is "Capturing the Unicorn" - only 4 MS there now, 2 of them designed by the legendary pervert, Hajime Katoki.

On this part, last time it is known as "the Temple of Zeon" - I do another fun stuff which I named as "Gang Bang"...

On the bottom floor, nothing change still the same as it used to be....

The above part of the shelf, I named it as "Gundam Gallery" and the other shelf I named it as "Figure Gallery"

On top of "Figure Gallery" only 4 figures now, 2 of them in the middle are so far the most expensive figures we have in Shewsbury Land, the ejaculating "1/10 Ex Machina Deunan Knute" (8,800 yen - about SGD 138.00) and the gigantic "1/10 Ex Machina Briareos Hechatonchires" (12,000 yen - about SGD 188.00) both from Wave.

Only 5 Figma now in here;

And some 6 in here;

The Pervert Rider zone, for now I display those from SIC Kiwami Tamashii series only....

And below the Pervert Rider, I display this 3 GFF;

On the bottom floor, still occupied by the current (or rather recent) Gundam series - the OO Gundam - a combination of Robot Tamashii figures and 1/144 HG scale model and two lovely lady figures.

It doesn't look too much now but trust me, some people will still say that this is too much already... sigh...

The rest... the coffee table have to bear some burden as well... all Figma from Fate/Stay Night and BRS can be found here;

Just the Honda S2000 left now in here... still my dream car, but I can't afford it... sigh...

The Strike Rouge still here somewhere on the TV cabinet...

Shin Musha now take over this place, last time it's the permanent place for the Figma Haruhi and gang (and all their furniture stuff)

Something classic though not many knew it (unless if they watch MS Gundam 0080 War In the Pocket) - this is a touching sad story, same like that MS Gundam: The 08th MS Team. If you call yourself a hardcore Gundam anime fan, you must watch these 2 short series as well. I can only watch them once and it is so sad that I never even think to watch it again. This GFF NT Alex and HG 1/144 Kaempfer involved in one of the MS battle in MS Gundam 0080 War In the Pocket ...

And also somewhere on the TV cabinet, this space battle ship collection of Shewsbury Land...

And below it are these MS from ZAFT....

Where are the rest of them now?

Well, some photos below can tell the answer;

Inside this MG Qubeley box;

We can find these items;

Inside this box;

You can find all these;

Inside this ArchAngel box;

You can see lot's of this guy figures;

And many more are hidden (or rest in peace) inside the 2 big box under that table.... sigh....

And suddenly out of nothing, I hang the Strike Freedom and Force Impulse;

Thanks to the fishing line set up by my friend Billy Wong long time ago, still strong till today.

The MS from Seed or Seed Destiny (or rather Cosmic Era) looks better this way - "flying" around on your living room, surely looks cool...

Sometimes it's not bad also if you don't have so much.... I knew that it's natural as human and pervert otaku that we always want more, even if we try to stop, we could stumble upon one of those "rare-items" or maybe sometimes out of nothing the online shop will provide that "super big discount sales" that tempted us to get more and more things....

Honestly, I admit that it's not really easy to stop - especially when you still can afford to buy more, why stop right? That is always the case for us, not just you, but also me... we are all the same... always want more (in terms of quantity) or something new and more exciting...

They said that men and boys are the same, only the toys get better and bigger (and so as the penis)....

By the way, how about you guys/girls? What is your best purchase for 2010?

What else that you wish and hope to get by next year 2011? I'm sure that everybody have their own wish list.... for me, I just wish that I'm richer and can become more and more richer next year so that I can run a healthy and clean brothel LOL... and I promise that if I become a very rich man, I will give you guys 1 Figma each LOL.....

end

  6. Displaying a select group of stuff instead of putting everything out makes it look more like a real collection instead of a big clusterf***.

    Maybe one day if I ever get my lazy ass to do the same...
