Robot Tamashii Gundam Exia

I remember that 3 years ago when I just started into "Gundam thingy", the first Gundam action figure I bought is the HCM Pro Gundam Exia.

It was fun but it's kind of too small to my liking. Along the way, as I learn more and more from our good friend Hobby Link Japan, I then find out about the "GFF" line up which is at 1/144 scale and I love it and from there onwards life goes on and here we are today....

Didn't buy this item on it's first release but after I watched the final episode of the Gundam OO anime, I suddenly feel that it's worth to keep the Robot Tamashii Exia as part of Shewsbury Land's collection - that is also because my first choice; OO Region Gundam Exia - one of those GFF series is out of stock from HLJ and my 2nd choice; 1/144 Super HCM Pro Gundam Exia is also no longer available from HLJ. So the last choice is the Robot Tamashii version.

This is the review of Robot Tamashii Gundam Exia from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam OO.

Notes: By the way, this week I purposely put toooooo muchhhhhhh exposure (in other word "Over Exposed" or too much brightness) on the review photos, I did this on purpose for some experiment.... just click the photo for larger size if it's too difficult for you....

The box...

Out of the box...

You will get all these stuff;

The Exia...

And all the balooney balloon bobs....

The Exia....

Articulation is fine, kneeling pose is not a problem (as expected anyway from Robot Tamashii)

A close up look on the Exia again....

Overall details are pretty nice....

These 2 tiny thing is for you to attached that 2 sword or on both side of the waist...

Something like this;

Must we not forget that Exia is the catalyst for the so called 7 Sword what ever shit... Though it seems nowadays we tend to remember the "00 Gundam Seven Sword" more often when talking about 7 swords....

Action pose time....

The final battle between Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in Mohabbatein.... LOL

Overall, a very nice action figure at a decent price and worth to be a "collectible items". The detailing is good and you will get all the complete weapons and accessories accordingly, the 1/144 model kits (HG grade) don't give you any of those beam saber part - they only give you 1 toothpick style of beam saber molded in white color.
