S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Blade King Form

This is the review of S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii Kamen Rider Blade King Form recently released by Bandai for 1,200 yen (about SGD 19.00 before adding the shipment charges).

The box/packaging...

Out of the box you will get all these stuff;

The figure...

2 swords and 2 pairs of extra hands....

As usual, let's have a look at the figure - today I will not mention anything about ass... LOL...

Articulation is good, it's not wonderful like those S.H. Figuarts figures, there is still limit here and there but overall for the price level, I believe all of the S.I.C Kiwami Tamashii figures are quite good. This usual kneeling pose is never a problem.

The details is quite a miracle for a cheap 1,200 yen action figure.... more than what one could expect...

So many different animals or creatures or aliens logo spotted on the armor of the body.... very cool...

You can mount the big sword at the back like this;

Well, that's about it... now it's action pose time....

It's good that Bandai gave 2 units of sword for this figure....

The usual Kamen Rider Kick (King Kong Kick)...

Yesterday, Oz have shown you his skills to counter the Kamen Rider Kick and today Ryuki will show you another trick to stop the Kamen Rider Kick deadly attack.....

3, 2, 1 and action......

See... according to Ryuki this trick works all time.... You just need lots of practice with the timing and precision - eating dragon's feaces and drinking the dragon's urine can be helpful to master this trick.

Overall, this is the typical brilliant cheap action figure from the S.I.C. Kiwami Tamashii of Bandai. Kamen Rider fans and collectors alike sure will love it but even so there is some weakness or issues that we have on this figure.

In general, the detailing and coloring on both of the sword for this figure is a little disappointing. Bandai painted and detailed one side of it and left the other side either unpainted or with less paints and details. Though eventually even if you complain to Bandai, the answer is formulaic and predictable - 1,200 yen.

Apart from that but in which has to do with the design, the articulation on the shoulder is somewhat limited or obstructed due to the large shoulder armor. Not really a big deal.

The worst part is on the hand(s) supplied to hold the sword(s) - they don't seems to be able to grab the swords very well - end up I have to use the white glue to make them stick and grab it properly.... sigh....

Other than that, no other complains to highlight, everything else are the way as it should be....

  1. I can't wait for mine!!! I have preordered it, and I really can't wait for it! Btw, there are different symbols of animals all over the body because in King Form, Blade is fused with 13 Undeads.

  5. I don;t know if you still have an eye on this but the two swords can combine together creating an even bigger one.
