1/100 Launcher Strike Gundam
This is the 1/100 Launcher Strike Gundam, the first Striker Pack used by Kira Yamato in the anime of Gundam Seed but I personally feels that this is the less popular Striker Pack amongst the 3 (Aile, Sword, Laucher) which is why Bandai give "extra stuff" for this item.
The box...
As you can see from the runners, this is quite simple but still, the Launcher Strike pack involved lots of parts...
Let's have a look at the body....
Articulation wise... still decent... this unit can still perform the kneeling pose..
I tried to do the usual "goal celebration" or the"yoga" pose but this seems to be the maximum...
Sidekick action.. this is also the maximum...
Normal front kicking action is not a problem...

Side by side with 1/100 MG Strike Gundam (on your left)... In this photo I tried to show the Armor Schneider contena on the hip of both grade... the 1/100 HG is a little bulky..
Overall the 1/100 HG design is quite bulky (or chubby) if you compare it with the 1/100 MG unit.
The way Bandai designed the back socket is also different between the 2 grades...
The 1/100 MG use the following socket mehod...
While the 1/100 HG use this kind of socket...

The standard weapon of Strike Gundam... as always we will start with Armor Schneider...
The one supplied with this 1/100 HG is quite funny... Bandai gave 2 units... that short one is for you to store in the hip contena... while the long one is for you to use or put on the hands of this Strike Gundam....
Apart from that.. these all the other armaments and weapons you will get from this kit, the Launcher Striker Pack, beam rifle, the shield and the "extra stuff" that I mentioned earlier, 2 beam saber which usually and supposedly comes with the Aile Striker Pack only...

Now it's beam saber time...
And lastly... the Launcher Striker Pack...
Not much action pose to do with this one though... it's all about long range heavy assault...
Eventually I also have a big size action figure of this Launcher Strike - 6 inch tall as you can see in the photo below...
So at the end, I will display this guy as a Strike Gundam only...
And some "relocation" has to be done on our Gundam Gallery now... this row now is only strictly for "Strike Gundam" species only....
Under the Strike row now is the "Katoki models" - Crossbone, Unicorn, Sinanju and Shin Musha.
Pity Amuro Ray... he now have to go down to the lower level sharing the space with all the 1/144 HG and GFF on the "merry go round"...
Strike Gundam is the most profitable and the most important sales icon for Gundam Seed anime. There are plenty of toy items and GunPlaMo kits models created by Bandai including 1/60 PG and the most recent one is the GFFN Aile Strike and the limited GFFN Strike Rouge Gundam with Sword and Launcher Strike Pack...
There are 3 different variation provided in the 1/100 HG namely Aile Strike, Sword Strike and Launcher Strike. Though this Launcher Strike might be the least popular of them 3 but surely this kit offer great value for money as you will also get the beam saber.

mmm. seems that you have the MG Launcher + Sword Strike Gundam too. As for SEED HG, I only have the Astray Red Frame, Blue Frame Second L and Legend. The Legend is quite well designed, i recommend you that :D

I have almost all of Strike Gundam variation in Shewsbury Land... 6 Strike Gundam plus another GFFN Aile Strike Gundam will come soon (that make it 2 now for GFFN) from HLJ... only Strike Rouge and 1/60 PG Strike Gundam that is missing now... As for Legend Gundam, I plan to just get the GFF/Cosmic Region coz it comes with the top body part of Providence Gundam.
